The t8 also runs an old version of android. There will likely be some issues with some newer addons which may be incompatible, ditto the version of kodi or variant you are running.

More snd more addons now require a paid for subscription to a service like real debrid or premiumize to get the best out of them. At lesdt they then give a better customer experience as a paid for service. Try also the Numbers addon as an alternative. Sometimes using a vpn returns better results

That sounds like an old box and a very old version of android. I suspect there are no updates for that box. Although you may be able to update some Google apps from the play store. If things have stopped working because of the out of date version of android I would suggest getting a newer box...

In most cases the Chipsets used on these older boxes do not support later versions of android. In some cases people have been able to flash a later version but invariably have found that it breaks something e.g. WiFi functionality.

Are you talking about a kodi addon or an android app? Can you confirm what version of android you are running? If an app does the vendor website state a minimum version of android? Also some official movie apps are incompatible with these types of boxes.
