Have you tried the AV input rather than the HDMI?

Got a camera for christmas with built in mic, Sven is the make. I can get picture on testing but no soumd working from the mic on skype test call. Is there any way to get the mic working? In the settings there is nothing for sound or camera either skype or droidbox.

One of my apps called Ukraine Today only works on wifi, so I have both running wifi and LAN. If I try to connect from the galaxy tab it connects through the lan ip addy, so I assume that both run together quite well. The SSH server on the X7 gives 2 addy one for lan and one for wifi.

The dvd has a tailed usb ie two usb coming off one and it also has a power lead. I have tried ejecting and playing SOS lol on the switch and ejecting to Phil Collins on his drums but nope nothing 8-) Ill try on the pi powered hub but to be honest I think the game is played out with a second hand...

Cannot find an AV mode, its either blue light on or off, even tried it in the smart tv Samsung and that didnt pick it up either, so I am assuming its a dvd player thats not compatable. 8-(

Thats strange, I plugged it into pi and it picked it up straight away and played the whole movie with menu. I have rasbmc so everything is there all plugins the lot so thats what made me think it needs the codecs etc. Ill try the av mode on the x7 later when the tv is free 8-) Thanks.

Has anyone tried a dvd player from liteon in xbmc? I cannot get x7 to recognise the liteon dvd player. Is tyere a plugin needed for this? Model, eSAAU 208-36 2

Have tried all sorts of combinations of switch off and reboot now. Tried soft reset in the menu, all that does is .........it will now reboot, the blue light stays on for about 2 minutes after rebooting then the light vanishes and nothing, switch the blue button after 4 mins and it reboots to...
