managed to get linuxondroid working 
it took some sorting but finally got it running, ok its a bit slow and klunky BUT!
didnt work from the ext sd card of 32gigs so transfered the img to the ext 1tb ext hdd logged in by the complete linux programme and wam bam there it usb was.
again Ill say its slow but just for the shear heck of trying it
