Think the T8-S plus V2 still has LibreElec 16.1 which is a version Kodi.. You can also still get Kodi 16.1 on there site as well, so you can just download it. Hope this helps

Have you tried going to settings, apps and then the play store. Now force stop and clear cache, now go and try again see if this helps.

If you go into apps (6 dots main menu)) and look for the OTA updater and it should be there. If you go in and it says theres none, then you must be up to date. Regards

Have you checked the OTA updater for updates, if you have run this. If it is up to date then you could try a factory reset, but this will put your box back to a new install. So you would have to set things up again. To do this you press the same button by the USB ports and just select factory...

If you just want YouTube then just use the one of playstore, saves you opening kodi or DBMC.

After you get back to android side check storage in setting to see you have plenty of memory, if not delete some. Now try switching to LibreELEC again, it can take a bit of time to switch. If the same problem happens again you might need to do a factory reset. Good luck.

You can use the restore button by the USB ports to switch back to android. Just power off and using a tooth pick push this button in and hold. Now power back on and still holding this button in you should get the recovery menu up. Now clear cache and then click on switch to android. Hope this...

Firesticks are good, but don't have alot of storage. Where android boxes tend to have more RAM and bigger internal memory. So you don't have to worry about the size of a build inside kodi. Regards
