hi sean, tried your build today and i was quite impressed, ive never been too keen on the aeone nox skin but liked the lay out and background images

ive tried the showbox app a few times and cant get on with it, picture quality is great but audio is not very good, too quiet and sound mumbley and ive tried playing through vpl, android player and even kodi and no difference

ive managed to get 1 channel working but i dont use it that much, plenty of good alternatives like exodus,123movies,specto and velocity

With openelec we will have to wait for a Ota update as kodi is embedded, if it's for android then just Uninstall 15.2 and download the latest which I think is 16.2

I prefer to use openelec because there is nothing going on in the background to interfere with the video streaming. If you check kodi system info in android and openelec you will see memory usage a lot lower in openelec. Imo having more ram available helps with buffering especially with hd

i found all4 will not work on rooted devices, i tried some software to hide the root and messed up my box so it left it unrooted, all4 still would not work so ive given up on ever getting it to work

i would not hurt to update to a newer version of kodi with a fresh run of a wizard

the best way ive found is use xunity maintenance

its hard to say as i find some movies are better on different addons, i find it just a case of trying them and see, if the quality is poor or cant find what your looking for then move on to a different addon

i updated one of these for a friend and thought it was not bad for the price he paid for it, you probably need a freshen up, i would go to the apps in settings and find kodi/xbmc whichever you have installed and clear data and uninstall. use the browser to find the kodi download site and get...

pleased with my t8s plus, i feel its as good as it gets for a cheapish media player

had a quick look on google and found nothing but im guessing if a mainboard could be sourced and imported it would proberly be cheaper to bin it and just buy a new box, i have a m8s has a spare and im not a big fan of them to be honest

as above, go with one of the t8 boxes, i have the t8s plus and a m8s and the t8 really does make the m8s look second rate

mucky ducks repo also has an addon called watch tv, gave it a go last night and not bad with some really good old retro stuff on it

I heard some 4k content can be found on navi x, not looked myself as I'm on the peasant resolution of 1080p

i agree with mark, as much as genesis has been my fav addon sincc the very beginning ive long accepted its dead in the water now and time to look for an alternative, for me this new genesis fork is more of the same and working a treat
