hi david, did you remove the ares repo or did you just uninstall and reinstall the ares wizard from the repo in seans build

sean, im getting error message when i try to open ares wizard, is there a problem with ares or is it worth me uninstalling it and adding the ares repo manually

Sorted, I ran seans build again but this time instead of pulling the power lead I clicked the ok button first and worked fine, by the way Sean I liked your build a lot, it's come on a bit since I first tried it and will be sticking with it

I will have a look later and see if I can change it

oddly enough im having the same problem with everything apart from wookie

dont know why ive started getting this problem but with the exception of wookie and Apollo if i run a wizard ie seans build everything works fine and when asked to pull the power lead the box re starts but the builds view is not applied, all the addons are installed but just on the default skin...

bin the m8s,i have one and dont like it much at all, then contact the lovely people at droidbox and buy a shiny new t8s, job done

I'm on virgin so maybe why, don't use it that much but was nice for a backup

anyone know whats going on with this addon, i cant get anything to play latley

the ares wizard has a xxx pack with a lot of addons ive never seen before, these addons were installed purely for research reasons of course

the ares wizard has a fresh start option that will clear everything off except the ares wizard

well this was interesting, for a while i have suspected that using the maintenance tool from tvaddons to clear cache did noting, so i thought i would experiment, i used the tvaddons maintenance and clear cache and rebooted, i then opened the ares wizard and maintenance and when i cleared...

having a few issues myself with 15.2, many links not working, addons in some repos missing ie mucky ducks repo, i ran wookie in 16.2 on android and no problems, i dont think its the addons but the wookie build but this is only a guess.

sean, just a thought but would it be possible to add the return to android option on the close down menu for the openelec dual boot like the confluence skin

i had a look at the ares maintenance tool last night, i liked it, alot more informative on whats being deleted

i have noticed latley wookie is half the size it used to be, there also wookie lite thats quite small

ive found there are so many addons that come and go, the only way i found to keep up with them is run wookie wizard and delete the ones i dont use

I've never changed any settings, can't remember what version of openelec it is but it's the one that came with the box running kodi 15.2, you could try reseting default settings in openelec incase something got messed up. Also I had a thought it might be worth trying a different hdmi cable

there has to be something wrong, openelec is working perfect on my t8s plus, might be worth checking hardware acceleration settings
