I've done a reset but when I open supersu i get a messege no su binary installed and the device has to be manually rerooted so im guessing its still not rooted, not sure how to go about this

you could try add source and type h**p://wiz.wookiespmc.com, ive used it a couple of times in the last few days and its been working fine

i will do a factory reset tomorrow, what is the best way to verify the device is rooted

as the all4 app does not work on rooted devices i tried a programe called hide my root but this still does not work so when i tried to turn it off i got an error so uninstalled but the problem is the box still thinks its unrooted, so im wondering if i do a factory reset will the box go back to...

funny enough i had this when i used kodi in android but i just thought the wookie install was borked, showbox is fine and no problems with kodi in openelec

yep its there, took me ages to find it, offhand i cant remember the path as it was more luck than anything i found the wookie images

ive noticed a few quirks like when using the web browser some sites dropdown boxes not working, i solved this by installing firefox beta, im guessing some apps have compatability issues with lolipop that will get sorted in time

i updated same as the guide, but i notice even that has no mention of clearing data option.

Exact same thing for me, when i installed the update there was no option to clear update first. i did a reset and its now showing the original rom build and no updates available

one of the t8 models, trust me buying a cheap box is a false economy, imo for hd you need something with at least 2gb ram on board

in openelec use video calibration, its in the settings and will have a l shape in the corners you can drag to resize the picture
