A factory reset will clear down Kodi (dbmc) so you will need to install them again.
A good approach is to install the ares wizard and install a good selection of Addons from within that, or go to their builds section to find a good pre-populated build.
The koditips web page also has good guides...
Forget youtube - use the koditips web site as your guide. They are very good.
Which isp are you with - make sure any isp controls are off.
You could try loading a build, like seans build if you are not comfortable loading individual addons (available on the ares wizard, if their maintenance has...
I managed to enter details on the "professional" form. Had to invent an app and provide a (fake) url for it. Developer had same options.
Was accepted successfully but issue of key is "pending" so we'll see...
Following the instructions @sean99, it asks if you are a developer or professional then asks about your application etc whixh is different to the nand screenshots (using a mobile for this).
I'll follow the "developer" path and see where i get.
Probably best to fresh start your kodi or dbmc or whatever. Certainly with all the changes that have taken place over the last few months. Time to set everything up fresh again with the new and replacement addons plus the older ones which have survived in new locations.
Go to settings - apps -...
Android 5.1.1. is the latest supported android version on the t8s plus v1.
I don't believe there is a firmware with a later fully functional version of android for that processor type (amlogic s812)
Thank you @Wallstreet for yet another one of your constructive useful suggestions.
Like when you called out one of the solutions i proposed for another user which worked as "crap".

If both phone and box are on the same wifi network you should be good. This is how it is supposed to work

Pairing is a well accepted thing for kodi viewing with streams from certain hosts. Set up a bookmark on your mobile for the pairing site then just enter the code.
If you were able to watch it without pairing the other night you probably picked it from a different host.
Its all a learning...
This is an old thread (from 2014) but seems to address the question.

If other Addons are working ok, it is likely to be a problem on the host server used by uk Turk. Closing and reopening uk Turk may help, as it may force another faster connection. Other than that, there is nothing you can do.
Post in the relevant part of the forum for your machine if this problem still persists. You will get a better response. Provide as much information on what you are doing/have done as possible.
