What you say is partially true, at the moment. Generally blocking is done by the main terrestial copper and fibre isps. Mobile providers less so. Kodi addons less affected than android apps. I havent checked the other android apps i have as alternatives to mobdro.

Mobdro is one of the easier ones to block - they blocked it as part of their trials earlier this year. Try kodi addons as an. alternative. Even sportsdevil was working today. A vpn will also help.

If that fails you could try the droidbox share app. The "server" app should be preloaded on your dbx. You will need a client app - hopefully there is sn ios version in the app store.

Make sure you have the latest version of airplay on your dbx - either from the dbx market or google play. It may help if you were running sn older version.

Well i would connect the droidbox to your tv via hdmi then use the android wifi search for your mobile hotspot. Then enter whatever details are needed to form the secure connection.

I guess you could try some fairly obvious things first to eliminate possible hardware connection issues E.g. different hdmi lead Different hdmi port on tv Different tv Also how good is your wifi signal in your spare room? Have you tried the box in your main room where the working one is?

It sounds like you have an android box, possibly similar to those supplied by Droidbox (this is their user forum). Generally the box will run android apps - like bbc iplayer, itv hub, google, facebook etc available from google play store. Plus other movie and tv apps available from other web...

Better option maybe - connect the droidbox to your mobile hotspot.

The first thing I would try would be to set hdmi auto detect resolution to off and see if it forces more resolutions to appear in the drop down list.
