Things connected to icechannel and istream are likely leftovers from your duckpool installation. Many of the others look like common dependencies. Did you look in the addons folder in case there is left over stuff there?
I would try VLC player as the default video player as that will tackle most formats and play anything.
If that fails, if you have a Droidbox supplied machine (which I assume you have as you have not said any different) and it is still under warranty I would contact support direct with an...
If you have downloaded superfavourites from the official kodi repository
(hxxps://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Super_Favourites)
Then I doubt that is the source of your pop up adverts.
I would suspect something else.
Maybe download and run malware bytes from Google play store and see if you have...
I think we've already established that es file explorer looks at the android side. We need something that will look at the librelec side. As I say, I know very little about libreelec but suggested you use the file manager on the libreelec Kodi menu bar under settings.
Best wait for a libreelec...
Hi Dave,
Just so you are clear, Kodi is what actually runs under librelec (and only Kodi). So when you open it you are running Kodi.
I'm assuming that at some point you have downloaded the duckpool add-on/repo on librelec Kodi and there is something left over.
You could always try a librelec...
You've got me there Dave. I'm android only and don't use librelec. Others more knowledgeable will be able to advise on the libreelec file structure and how to access. Maybe file manager in librelec Kodi settings?
Can you remind us which droidbox model you have and which version of android is running?
Someone here may have the same set up and can attempt to replicate.
I can say that most of the Apks you quote work well on an old droidbox T8 (android 4.4.2).
I have seen connection error messages with...
My first reaction is they may be leftover thumbnails. I would do a search (using a file explorer) of the local drive looking for anything duckpool related. Sometimes a kodi addon delete does not delete everything.
If nothing else has changed i.e. you gave not downloaded or updated anything else or changed any settings etc, then without knowing anything about the 2 paid for apps, I would contact the providers. Do they have user forums where you can check if anyone else is having similar problems?
Hi
First of all Kodi 17 won't run on a t8 running android 4.4.2.
Instead get CEMC from Google play or FTMC from freaktabs. Mygica also emulates Kodi 17.
I'm not certain that many builds run on Kodi 16 these days. Other forum members maybe able to help. So you may want to install the 5 or 6...
Where did you download the APIs from? Do you have the latest versions.
Both terrarium and teatv have "official" sites so I would try there first. Rawapk is also good.
Apart from moviehd which has some reported issues (cause unknown) the above play ok on my boxes.
Ares wasn't a build, more a means of accessing builds and individual add-ons.
If you want to install a build try Sean's build which is built by sean99 on this forum.
Last 4 or 5 posts in this thread may help

As you have found...
Their Twitter account says they currently have server problems (affected the Liverpool vs Spurs game for example)

Exodus and many other addons ceased early last year. Many replacements out there though, some based on exodus.
Check the "bestforkodi" web site for suggestions.
Droidbox media center (dbmc) are separate apps. If you have kodi 17 stick with that.
A few strange things here.
Kodi 18 is still in testing and has not been released officially yet. So it is still unstable.
Are you sure this is a droidbox machine as they would not be loading kodi 18 on it yet?
At any rate I would uninstall 18 and install kodi 17 the last official release from...
I should have been clearer Patrick.
DBMC is based on a Kodi fork called SPMC. SPMC still remains on Jarvis, so until they release a krypton version of that, dbmc will not be updated either.
You can find dbmc via the apps or my apps button depending on your home screen launcher.
I doubt there will be any firmware updates to the old t8.
As it runs android 4.4.2 there is no way it will run vanilla Kodi krypton 17.
However there are several Kodi forks out there such as Mygica, FTMC, CEMC which provide compatible functionality.
I use a t8 as our second machine and it runs...
Depending on which version of android you are running, assume android 5 if you have the t8s plus 1, you can get kodi 17 from google play store.
The t8s plus v1 moved from openelec to libreelec at least a year ago via a firmware update. That was still using kodi jarvis.
A beta (test) version of...
