I can't help you with anything regarding Rogue firmware because I've never used it. But yes, you can load apps/games/etc. on the slot 2 microSD card on the stock firmware at the very least.
These are mostly because of hardware problem if related to putting pressure on a particular button. But it's worth giving the go-to firmware flashing to verify if that fixes the problem for you.

This could be a WiFi hardware support issue for Hotspot connection on the device. Is this the first time you are trying to use WiFi hotspot for internet on device?
Please confirm if you have the same issue using a WiFi router as well? Please check with the operator if data services are enabled to be shared over hotspot as well.
Did you enable developer mode on the device from settings? If yes, you should be able to disable audio routing when you are into this option on device settings.
I would suggest contacting the app developer to get information as if they allow steaming on open source Android TV boxes or not ( Custom Android ROM device ).

It's also possible that remove is unable to copy all the commands you need from your other remote. However, resync the remote and see if that makes any difference.
The RG350 from us come with the latest official firmware so you are probably on the latest official firmware or could reflash with the latest firmware using the link in an earlier response.
