Which version of Showbox have you got? I updated mine a couple of weeks ago to version 3.3 and it seems to work ok now. As for updating your X7 did you clear XBMC's data and run the wizard as described here? http://droidboxforums.com/threads/droidbox-wizard-updated-this-month-december.638/ Not...
Have just checked it on my Q7 and its working fine. Also checked Icefilms on a Tesco Hudl that I've got and that's working too. Its on the address that is in the link but I've noticed a few people saying it's not working.
Thanks for the reply Chris. I have already tried that link and it doesn't want to play ball.
It was available as a stand alone app until apple put the mockers on it but I do know a couple of people that have still got it.
As far as putting XBMC onto the IPad, I haven't delved too deeply into it...
Icefilms has apparently been blocked by BT (for UK users). Here is the fix. Just tested and works fine now

@MickM Not sure what's wrong with Icefilms on my Q7 as its still not working. Managed to install it again but still no joy. It is working for others though as my mate has it installed on his device and it's fine.
Yeh it's not working for me either. I've just uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it but it wont download so there must be a problem with it. Will keep trying and will let you know.
Just been looking at Navix (within Xbmc). Go into Navi- Xtreme Portal/ Most Viewed 24 Hours and Hammy 40 is there. Its a new one on me but I don't really use Navi X as I found that the Q7 seemed to crash and hey presto the box has just crashed so I will carry on avoiding that one.
Sorry to hear that you're still having problems. Another forum member has previously made a query about firmware in this link
http://droidboxforums.com/threads/q7-firmware.400/
No problem. Have a look at this link as it seems that there was a problem with the wizard recently.

Strange one. I think this is definitely one for SilentlyScreaming to sort for you. Sorry I couldn't help you out but I'm sure he will sort it when he sees this post
Are you downloading XBMC directly to your Q7 or from your laptop and onto a USB stick? I used the latter method from this link :
http://droidboxforums.com/threads/gotham-xbmc-only-for-x7-q7-devices.7/ and then connected the USB into the Q7, turned it on and then from the android homescreen...
Have you tried clearing the data as described in the first link that I posted? It takes a good few minutes for the data to clear if I remember rightly. Going back into xbmc should take you to a first run.
