finty, did the wizard finish as this happens when it has installed.
Reboot your box and try going into kodi and see what is there.
I know you lost a lot of time, but can't think what else it could be.
Showbox are having issues and the moment and are trying to sort it out. Only severs 4 and 8 seem to be working and they are split into 4 parts.
I'm running showbox 4.64.
Rebooting the router and checking parent controls and security too. Just in case, Paul B good call on time setting.
I just assumed thats part of the setting up process. Let hope it gets sorted thats the main thing.
Good luck

Don't give up as I think it might be linked to wookie. As your box seems to be at the right specs you gave. My Internet speed is 12 to 15mps.
Also Sean build is in community builds and you have to keep go in and out until it shows up. I think you will still get the long shut downs. See if it...
Hi if you go to system inside kodi, then underneath go system info.. now summary shows you Free memory, this is for ram I think. Now underneath go to storage and here it will show you internal memory.
It might be a wookie issue, like 'busapaul' has said above. One of my boxes does take just under 2 mins to shut down.
But it works perfectly, so I'm happy to leave it.
OK can you go to the android main menu then setting other and then more setting. Now go to storage and see what you have left.
I know this is a pain and I've turned to drink.
I've had my share of things going wrong and you do need a lot of patients.
Inside wookie have a look at Sean's biuld.

The top thread have a look.
Best of luck and hope this works for you.
OK just saw you have T8-S...so you should have kodi in apps.
You can make a sort cut for this on the right hand side on you main menu by pressing on +/-
These boxes can test your patience, I only update when things start to get full, or add-ons need a newer version of kodi to run.
Things will get sorted.
Sorry to here, to do a factory reset you need to power off your box, then hold the restore button on the side by the USB sockets. Keep hold and power on still holding until the recoverymenu pops up. Now click on factory reset and it will reset...after its rebooted give it time to load your apps...
