Thanks Nigelar. My Android drive is accessible when I'm not using Kodi. Its only when I try to access it through Kodi that it's not listed. Oddly enough, my SD card comes up just fine.
Does anyone know how to use the Extended Info Mod? I've managed to install it but the 'Play' option isn't accessible. So I can just read about the movie but can't play it. I've checked the settings page and the only options I have are General, TheMovieDB and Autocompletion. Is there...
I'm trying to change my background images using pictures stored on my Android hard drive. When I browse for the images, my SD card is visible but not my Android hard drive. Is there something I need to do in order to make the drive visible? I notice that the 'New Folder' option on the right...
Thanks Nigelar that did the trick. Now I've managed to find the video section, I've gone to add files but my box doesn't seem to have my Android hard drive listed. Suspect I might need to post this as a separate question.
Hi,
Does anyone know how to add a video library to Kodi? All of the online instructions I can find suggest going to the 'File' tab in the 'Video' section on your home screen. But most of the modern builds don't include a Video section on the home screen.
Ok I bit the bullet and did a fresh install. Also installed a build on it. The box seems to be running a lot slower (especially when booting up) and sometimes freezes so I have to turn it off and then on again. I know that Krypton is supposed to be a step forward, but I'm struggling to see how...
I'd like to avoid doing a fresh install as I've got my Kodi set up the way I want it and don't want to go through the process all over again.
When I go to settings in Android and check my apps it says I have Kodi 16.1 RC2
In the Google Play Store when I search for Kodi it comes up with version...
Followed the instructions David and watched the Box for two hours. I can report no choppy playback at all. I think you've cracked it, thanks. Has anyone else tried those instructions posted by David?

Bugger. Looks like anyone who's having this choppy playback problem is on their own. I added the advanced settings file to my Android device yesterday but that had no effect whatsoever. I wonder if I should call in a priest to do some sort of exorcism?
I've also tried the fresh start option. It seemed to work for a while but after about half an hour the audio playback started clipping. Is there something different about our boxes?

Thanks for getting back to me ChrisM. Before I try the fresh start option in Libreelec can you tell me if that'll wipe everything from the Android side of the box as well?

I've recently got LibreElec working on my DroidBOX but find that the audio playback on TV shows and movies is choppy. Every couple of minutes, the audio will cut out and come back. It's a bit of a pain as sometimes you have to guess what's being said on screen. The problem only seems to be on...
Thanks for getting back to me Nigelar. Does that mean that all droidboxes running openelec are still on 15.2? That's a shame (especially with Krypton now coming out). Can you tell me how I go about replacing openelec with librelec? Sorry not sure what the ota update function is.
Hi,
I'm having problems updating Kodi on Openelec. At the moment I'm still using Kodi 15.2 on Openelec. When I go to openelec dev update I get a message saying invalid custom source URL . Please check the URL
when I click OK, I get this message;
No builds were found for DroidBOX.arm...
