Problems updating Kodi on openelec

Hi,

I'm having problems updating Kodi on Openelec. At the moment I'm still using Kodi 15.2 on Openelec. When I go to openelec dev update I get a message saying invalid custom source URL . Please check the URL

when I click OK, I get this message;

No builds were found for DroidBOX.arm. http://snaptshots.openelec.tv
Please check the URL

Any idea how I can fix this?

There is no openelec kodi update for droidboxes. To get kodi 16+ you will have to replace openelec with librelec via the ota update function.

Thanks for getting back to me Nigelar. Does that mean that all droidboxes running openelec are still on 15.2? That's a shame (especially with Krypton now coming out). Can you tell me how I go about replacing openelec with librelec? Sorry not sure what the ota update function is.

some new t8minis g0t openelec 16.1 as a trial but due to lack of support for openelec kodi from the openelec community droidbox standardised on librelec going forward.
here is droidbox's guide to ota updating from their how-to page
as you've written in the t8s plus section of the forum i am assuming that is your machine
