Subtitles in

Hello all, I have just recently purchased my X3 box and I'm very happy with it...however I have not been able to make any add ons for subtitles work in Leia (pre installed with the box)...I install them ok but the will not download any subs when a film is playing...it could well be a Kodi issue and have nothing to do with Droix? Just if anyone has had the same problem/or know of a workaround...

You need to download an additional "subtitling" add-on first and enable it.
This article shows how to install one (there are others and I suggest you research them first).

Thanks for your reply...I had used this tutorial before as it is very complete. This is not the problem...I have since discovered that the problem is with my streaming service that does not seem to allow download of the subs...for some reason...I tried with a film that I had on a local disc and it (opensubtitles.org) worked fine. I will refer to my streaming operator to see if they have an option.
