Sound Problems

i am getting muffled sound especially regarding speech, everyone seems to whisper these days. i have tried adding a sound bar first to the box and then to the tv both using an optical link but there is little or no improvement, any help would be greatly appreciated

Check the sound output in the device settings and also the app(s) you are using. It may be that you have selected 5.1 output for example and it is outputting to two speakers. If that does not change anything, try a factory reset, details at https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/accessing-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/

Also try an app like YouTube to see if the speech is playing correctly.
