Kodi 19 Matrix

Hello All,
I have been very happy with my box. I did something stupid the other night without checking before I did it. I updated to Kodi 19 Matrix. I mostly use the box to play films stored on a hard disc and TV using PVR Simple Player. Unfortunately none of these things seem to work properly now. Should I use another add on for TV?
My question is - it there a way to downgrade to Kodi 18.9 without losing all my settings (which were a pain to put it).

You might have to reload 18.9 and take the check mark off for doing software updates automatically

Does anyone have a tut for this...I have tried to install 18.9 but Kodi will not let me install. Tried from file manager and app installer and it goes to the same Kodi permission that will not allow it...any ideas?

You will have to uninstall kodi 19 first.
However quite a few addons have been updated to work with kodi 19 - check lists on the seo michael or kodi tips websites.

In order to uninstall Kodi:

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Tap the desired application in the default list or tap Menu icon > Show system apps to display preinstalled apps.
4. Tap Uninstall.
5. Tap Uninstall again to confirm.
