Are you referring to an android tv app or a kodi addon? If the latter, which addon? Please provide a bit more info so we can help better. I dont know much about the A5X Pro box. Is it Droidbox supplied?

The most relevant update for android users I think, will be the auto save of skin changes immediately as opposed to on exit from Kodi. Seen a number of threads here where skin changes from Kodi have not "stuck" due to an abnormal exit from Kodi.

If all you are doing is updating the wizard, do you really need a pin code? The wizard should auto update or you can grab the latest version from the official ares repo. The pin code should only be needed if you want to download a build etc.

I am not a librelec expert but you might want to look in: Kodi General settings “Enable playlist at startup" and set to off as that is what usually invokes the autoexec.py script. Report back with results.

Checked the app reviews on Google play as I'm sure you have, and several people have complained about the way the app orientates on tablets (which a Droidbox effectively is). The itv hub app used to perform a similar way. Suggest you contact the app developers and complain. They should fix it...

And you will also have a problem trying to run official kodi 17 on android 4.4. They are not compatible.

Exodus has finished. Use Covenant or Elysium or Real Movies or similar. The "bestforkodi" and "koditips, sites have good installation instructions for most addon. Downloading and using the ares wizard makes life even easier.

If it is a brand new box you should contact droidbox support directly for help (contact emsil at bottom of forum)

I checked on the ares forum this morning and they are saying their servers are getting hit hard currently. Not the solution but an explanation. All they can suggest for now is to avoid peak hours (whatever that means given time differences)
