You wont be disappointed.. most streams are Kodi only but there are native apps also.. mbdro springs to mind.. also once you get over the streaming lark you will want to discover what else the box is capable of and that's when you start to explore Android and the fun begins. ;)
Hi Ron.. the app is actullay displayed as #SU so might not be that obvious sorry about that.. the fact that you were asked to grant permission to the installer suggests that Kodi has asked for and been granted root access so it looks as if in a round about way you have done as suggested ;)...
Hi Craig.
both boxes are identical except for one major difference.. the T8-s has SATA support meaning you can now add an HDD/SSD to your box. As a seasoned box owner this is a blessing... it means you can store locally all your media files instead of streaming them to your box and it allows...
I haven't seen the T8s so am not sure if they are rooted or not.. the reason Ron is getting this message is because Kodi has asked for root permission from superSU and was denied. Its an easy thing to do espc if you are not familiar with the box and super user access.. if box is not rooted...
Open SuperSu on the global apps page.. navigate to kodi on the left hand pane and make sure its selected.. navigate to the right hand pane and click access.. select grant and make sure notifications are set to Global Default.. job done..
settings/apps/ xbmc and clear the cache. download CCleaner from the play store and run it.. if you still don't have enough free memory go back to settings / apps /xbmc and clear data reboot and re_run wizard
As far as I was aware all T8's were rooted... might be best to ask in the T8 thread or drop tech support a quick email as you may need a firmware update.
if u have T8 it should be rooted so just click on 1st icon large top buffers.. yeah same as jail break and it does no harm allows u to run apps not sanctioned by Google and let's u tweak the OS
what box do you have? as it should be rooted by default. once d/loaded you just run it like any other app.. there should be 3 icons you can select "large TCP Buffers" "Default TCP Buffers" and "Refresh". If you are getting "root access denied" it means your box hasn't been rooted and this...
It is.. but I got to ask why do you only re-boot ( turn on/off ) a couple of times a year?? I would recommend you reboot on a daily basis just to clear the cache also I tend to unplug mine every night at the end of the day these are cheap Chinese boxes and as such I would not recommend leaving...
Another great little app I have come across.. Bionic TCP, it increases the default TCP buffers on all (rooted ) android devices. Very easy to install and use. Download from the play store install and run. Please be aware that this app is not a terminate and stay resident app, you will need to...
You need to install MX player and enable the HW+ decoding options. MX Player can be found here
once installed click the options menu in the top right corner of the screen ( 3 dots ) select settings and then
select decoder.. tick the following 3 boxes.. 1: use HW+ Decoder 2: use HW+...
where did you get the firmaware to update from? as I don't think there is a firmware available to d/load ?? if you have a play account you can log in via pc and install the app from there to your device...
