Youtube and play store error M8

I am having issues accessing YouTube and play store on M8. I have updated to latest firmware an XBMC is working OK but want to download some apps from.play store and also use YouTube app without starting up xbmc

where did you get the firmaware to update from? as I don't think there is a firmware available to d/load ?? if you have a play account you can log in via pc and install the app from there to your device..

Was actually issue with time and date which weren't set properly. All working again now. Cheers
