The pulse build isn't the same as the pulse media hub. His main reason for the charge is not just the youtubers but also some of his work being stolen, passed off as another add on and he's getting the abuse for it when the other add on doesn't work... That's what I've found out via twitter...

Okay, so took it out of its box... Hooked it to my telly and the screen in windows mode was best part of 2 inch for my display. This also affected kodo. Whent to change the display settings and hit the wrong one Any way to factory reset these boxes? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Any of us that still use openELEC be wary. This update is geared for Kodi 16 and above. However word on Twitter is the old version should still work. Tested mine and the update does fail, but I'm still able to use the version I have. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
