Over the last couple of days my addons on my m8 box are dropping like flies in the fact that they are ceasing to work.
I have tweeted a few of the developers and they are saying that all is ok from there end.
I am with sly ISP and just wondering if they are blocking streaming.

I am able to get round the torrent site blocks on my pc but need assistance in achieving this on android m8 box.

Will a VPN help, if so which is best to use??

All help appreciated not a noob at this but its got me baffled at the mo!!!

It is possible that isp blocking is the cause. It depends what you mean by "dropping like flies". If they are giving error messages then the cause is likely to be something else.
If lists of movies, tv shows are not showing then it may be isp blocking. A vpn could help.
However, make sure isp child controls, smart shield etc are unset.

Droidbox have a deal with ipvanish at the moment - check the blog on the main web page.

Some addons are still showing the links some aren't. Some are giving errors.
Down to only a few that work now.
Already turned shield off, it didnt make any difference.
Thinking of resetting box and starting a fresh but wanted to see if it could be sorted before doing that.

Thanks for the reply.

If you have TVAddons on your Kodi then this is likely to be the culprit.
Google TVAddons taking over Kodi for full details.

Lol! TV Addons the culprit.... Yes they have disabled The Beast build and GoW build from using there addons but that's it.

Let's not forget without TV Addons (fusion repo) we wouldn't have the liked of Exodus, Phoenix, Zem TV etc...

We are using the megatron build and version 16.1 jarvis kodi. Just trying some addons this morning. Fubar. Uk turk. Salts. Seem to be working now. Nothing changed at this end.

Mystery. Anybody know what could have caused it as it has been down for a few days.
There were rumours of ddos attack. But couldn't see anything on router log??
Any suggestions???

URL reserver had a major update. This caused some addons to have down time.

Have a look at SoloMan's youtube video (amongst others).
TVAddons certainly not flavour of the month :)

I have many Addons from the tvaddons (fusion) repo and they are all working fine. As thegazsheard says, the majority of Addons we are familiar with (I can add ice films, 1channel, velocity, castaway, sports devil, ukturk, football today, vidtime to his list) all originate there.
