I keep them plugged in all the time and not had any problems on five different boxes. I understand the safety issue of this, but i use a surge protector extension lead.

Just stating the obvious, but make sure its in a vented area as over heating can cause this.

Thanks Chis, ill try this on Monday then. I always used the OpenELEC side on my original T8-S which was great, so it would be nice to be able to use the LibraELEC on this device.

I'm using a soundbar that works fine with my T8-S, T8-S Plus Ver 2 & any connected device (Blue-ray Player Virgin Media Box etc). Iv'e connected it via the audio in from the soundbar, into the Headphone socket on the TV & disabled sound from the TV Speaker so it go's straight to the headphone...

If i'm correct, if you put a HDD into the bay (or USB stick / Flash Storage) then in the android settings menu format the device as storage. Once this is done, it should then show as the primary storage device to install apps etc to.

Any news on when DroidBOX will fix the Loss of signal / drop out on the libraELEC side of the ver 2 box? Its nice to have a new model of T8-S, but not so when its so bug ridden. I use a wired connection which is fine in android, but the drop out in Libra is unusable.
