ive noticed in openelec there is a option to install droidbox cloud, can anyone tell what it is and what it does please

got a reply but not much help, i cant see how a reset will work but what do i know

i had a play about with mobdro and show box last night, never used them before but i noticed a few pop up adverts but nothing too intrusive so if it helps pay for there time and servers i guess i can live with adverts

have a look in settings, appearance, skins and see if you can select one of the modded skins, if im correct there are two in wookie aeon nox and confluence modded

i have to keep the original remote close to hand just in case i have to use the menu button, i think its an openelec thing, the remote works fine in android

ive had no sound problems, but some buttons on my air remote will not work in openelc ie return and menu buttons

i dont think openelec likes custom skins much, i set mine to the default confluence and in settings apperance you can set the closedown button options, i just downloaded some fancy artwork to tart up the background

looks the same for all of us, im guessing droidbox are using a cusomized openelec to get it on there t8s and will have to update from them anyway, i emailed them yesterday and awaiting a reply

I tried uninstall and reinstall but no good, when i uninstalled and rebooted it just updated back again

paul if you go system addons and look for openelec dev update and click on it there should be an option for configure, we need the ulr under custom domain

im going to try uninstalling the dev update addon then reinstall it, i will let you know if this works later

could possibly be a fault with the hard drive, you could connect it to a pc to see if windows can find it

ok just had a check, go programs and click on openeiec dev update and a box pops up saying no valid ulr, click ok and another box pops up click ok and then the settings box pops up, click on the little cog on the top of the page and you can see custom domain with no ulr address

i had one when i first bought my t8s but after a firmware update i lost it so im now using wookie but there are others such as mucky ducks and tvmc

cant remeber off the top of my head, i will check later when i turn the box on

same here after i did a firmware update, ive checked the addon settings and the ulr address is blank so they may need to be put in manualy, if someone could please post the openelec dev update settings i will give it a go

no luck here getting primwire to work, i have to wait for the mrs to clear off to work so i can have a fiddle in peace
