    hi dave thanks for getting back to me, it's a brand newbox paid £pounds from droids i think i set it up wrong and know how to go back.

    Dave you seem to be the man to contact. I have just purchased the Droidbox T8, but when I try to use the keyboard the @ button does not seem to work. Do you have to use a different key than the shift button with it like a normal keyboard.

    Witch keyboard do you have, doesn't the on screen keyboard do it. I have the VIP air mouse and normally its the coloured keys that change it.

    Dave I need your opinion. .I need a total of 4 boxes in my house then I can officially cancel cable...I have a T8s and. Mxq..what should be my next box I don't want an expensive box but I want a good one and even tho I'm technical savyy I don't have enough experience with these boxes. .helllppppp haha

    Have you looked at the fire stick on amazon, the only thing is its a pain to get Kodi on. You have to link it to your computer then down load it. There's a video on YouTube that walks you through the steps on how to. Once its done it runs fine and only $40. The last thing is you have to manually install the repos and add-on and if you have any probs amazon won't help.

    Anymore suggestions? Do you have a fire stick? Seems time consuming haha

    Dave I also have a Mxq but when I go to Kodi it's a blank screen..any idea how to fix this? Also when I exit out of Kodi should I be using the power button lower corner then hit exit? Or should I just power off box or esc back to home screen...I notice when I hit the power button and exit button in kodi it locks or takes forever

    Fingers crossed, I've had xbmc (Kodi) for along time, and find you can run into problems a lot so good support is needed...I help out because I enjoy helping people who need it. If I ever get anything wrong I'm sorry for that, but I have a lot of experience so hopefully not often that happens.

    Alrite mate wonder if you could help me I keep getting a pop up saying external player active click OK when playback has ended. My box won't play nothing and I have just upgraded to kodi from xmbc Goth hoping that will fix it.no still the same am I best to factory reset it.I don't have a user name or password for my t8 so I don't know what to do

    If you go out if kodi, go to apps then file manager hd. Look for APKs and see if xbmc or kodi are there. If they are go to settings, more, more setting and then apps and uninstall kodi and the go back to file manager and install that one. As for password and user, go to our main site and look into Blogs and how to for more info.

    If you got the T8 from droidbox then you should have a 6 digit number on the invoice or even the password and user. Good luck and hope this helps you. Thanks for the message and glad to help you, but I don't have pass or usernames. Dave

    Hi David, you seem to be the man to ask questions on here :)I am not great at updating it as I seem to make a mess of it.at the minute I have xbmc version 13.3.3 (SPMC). What do you suggest I need to do to get it back up and running
    What do you recommend I update to, do I use kodi? How do I do this properly and what's the best way to do it. Appreciate it

    I pre-fair the regular skin as its easier to use and smoother too. The modded can have some problems with the keyboard, but there's a fix in the wizard. I'm upgrading soon myself I believe it a good box. Thanks for the PM...Dave

    Hi, Im trying to play modern combat with a idriod controller and the controller works on home page of droidbox so is connected but nothing on game???

    Not sure, in the game can you configure the controller anyway. I don't no to much about these things, but good luck and Happy Easter it you.
