    Hello and i do apoligise in advance lol im keeping you busy. Ive had roblems with my t8-s as in a lot of buffering issues with live sports etc so today ive rang sky and upgraded to their highest fibre optic pro but was wondering if there are any settings that you can advise and help me on to set on the droidbox to help with the quality of picture and buffering issues please?     I'm not sure on Sky fibre..I know there's a 25GB a month restriction. Try the Xunity maintenance and tweeks and turn off advanced XML.

    Then go to system, video and Acceleration and highlight all there see if this helps you. Remember to reboot after you change things.

    Hello and sorry to bother you but i have a droidbox t8s but niw the memory is filling up very quickly i only have the built in hard drive but i dont download any films etc just have the repos like showbox and wookie on there so i have gone into the settings and looked and my kodi is taking up 5 gb but i can only clear the cache and it frees up 120 mb

    This happens time to time, if you go into setting, other, more setting and storage check your misc files. This is from updates and the wizard in kodi.

    Best thing to do is from storage go back one, then apps and kodi. From here force stop and then clear data, this will take kodi back to a new install. Let it finish and go back and re-run the wizard. If you add your own repos go with the light, if not run the Retro look.

    To keep on top of it clear cache inside kodi after each use. I use the Xunity maintenance, and inside the Xunity go to tweeks and check what XML you are set on. If it says zero go to delete advanced XML, this should also help. Hope this helps you

    Don't know whether u can help I have just had droid player quad core Mxq with all the apps and kodi, I had it for showbox app and it won't download new updates it keeps saying updates failed I can't uninstall or reinstall could you tell me what I need to do I can only disable app in settings

    I've had a simalar problem and cleared cache and it sorted it. Not sure why it's not uninstalling, have you gone to setting, apps and scroll down to showbox and should be able to uninstall. Might be worth checking in setting that there's nothing highlighted to stop you from deleting apps.

    Hi David, I have 4 x T8-S Plus boxes from you, on 2 of them sometimes when they are booted up and they display the home screen they play a shrill musical sound as though you have run your fingers over the high notes on a piano, through the television speakers, I wondered why does that happen, I have checked the sound settings and the digital sound settings on all 4 boxes and they are all set the same

    I'm not sure on this box, I own T8-S. The only thing I could think is it might be the OTA updater, on the two boxes that do it use your remote to swipe down from the top see if in the top corner if there's a icon for it.

    Hello sorry to bother you but ive re installed wookie on my droidbox and have lost the showbox app and cannot find it anywhere not even in the google store when i type it in? Please help as im easily confused and would appreciate your help.

    Could you please check current T8-S openELEC with optical out? Check if digital audio (optical/TOSlink out) works in current openELEC.
    Whether RCA output for AUDIO, (and out of interest for video) works at all for you - obviously lower resolution and quality?

    hi im having great difficulty trying to clear data before installing add ons.
    in settings I cant find more settings or apps so after many hours I still have no wookie wizard to watch live tv and sports..... please help ....thanks

    You are not having a good time with your box..if you can clear data again and try again, as long as you have followed the instuctions in the link above to turn the security and parent controls on your router. You should be fine, also in the wookie wizard login is free and password is 1234 so check them aswell.

    If you have any problems then I suggest you use live chat on droidboxs main site...the link for this is on the 1st page of this forum. Then a green box with chat or message in. The tec guys are there normally till 6pm ish, and normally office hour only. Good luck

    If you are going to run the wookie wizard then yes you will need to clear data to stop corruption on your box.

    To clear data, go to the main boot up menu in android, then setting, more setting and then Apps. Scroll to Kodi and go in and here you can clear data, let it finish and go back and run the wizard.

    as for the xunity fixes all ive got is highlighted blank sections ive no idea what ive highlighted as its blank....i can click on most apps ,but when you go into them its blank sections

    also i ve installed a program call husham all was well untill i meesed about with it
    and i installed a slightly different version..now i have blank sections ,like the blank keyboard some people have. if i manage to find settings its just
    blank sections highlighted..
