Zoomtac T8 Plus restarts internet on bootup

My Zoomtak T8 plus is connected via ethernet and when it boots up it restarts my modem. I have not tried yet on wifi to see if getting the same issue.....any suggestions..... A quick edit just tried on wifi and no resart issue .... so issue only when connected thru ethernet

Are you using tp link adapters? If not what is your modem make?
What happens if you connect another device e.g. A pc by Ethernet?
You might also want to contact either the router/modem manufacturer or zoomtak. Here's their forum

I tried connecting using after using wifi and didnt have that problem. Tried several times yesterday and again today after work turning the box on using ethernet and worked fine. I did try something I read on the forum by someone else witch was to force the ethernet plug into the port on the box really firmly but not sure if that had anything to do with it.

You can try a different ethernet cable and see if the problem persists. Also update your router firmware.
