Someone was asking on here the other day whether there was an add-on for downloading and extracting youtube video. I've noticed that the wookie wizard has provided youtube-dl Control in program addons. I've no idea how it works but someone or the person who asked may want to try it out and report back.

I think it was me who posed the question. Ive tried using youtube DL. Is better than some methods. I Have shortcuts in video addons and play the video I want then go into youtube DL and click option download current video. It does queue videos but I've found anymore than than x2 small videos it just freezes up. I am upgrading my broadband to 100mb this week so I'll see if that helkps.
I'm sure there's easier ways to capture content off youtube, I just haven't discovered any yet.
