X96Max+ Streaming Box not Google Certified?

I purchased an X96Max+ Android 9.0 TV Box (Make: Huafeliz) in Germany (Amazon). The description said it has full access to Google Playstore. I am now in South Africa and find that the Box is not fully Google Certified. The DSTv Now app (side-installed) works for a few hours, then reports the error PER. According to DSTv, the box mustbe Google Certified... I cannot find a support URL for this product. Amazon support not helpful ... I am hoping for a firmware update that will incorporate the Google Certification .. Can anybody help?

A firmware update is unlikely unfortunately. With the exception of more known manufacturers like Beelink, most Android boxes receive very little in the way of post-launch updates.

I'd suggest using different streaming platforms like Kodi and such, as they are what these £40-60 Android boxes are primarily intended for.
