Recommended Droidbox to my work colleague, he received his T8-S Plus box last week but is having great difficulties installing Wookie Wizard.

He gets up to the point where you select Programs > Then Select Wookie, but after this the screen is blank. The screen where you are given the choice of a build does not appear?

He has tried contacting droidbox direct for assistance, but they said it's nothing to do with them? Which is rather strange as they've been very supportive with my box?

Can anyone please help??

My advice would be to delete and reinstall the wookie and try again.

Thanks for the quick response.

We've tried that process several times now but with no joy?

Hi the url foir wookie is

http://wiz.wookiespmc.com

I really like wookie and use it myself, the issue could be his ISP? who is he with? i have recently moved house and had to get BT :( anyway when i got it wookie didn't show the builds either when installing so i have to go into the router settings and disable smart setup, it worked fine after that.

BT's Smart (ha) Setup and (some) blank Wookie screens:
short version is visit https://DroidBOXForums.com in the browser app on your DroidBOX.
You'll get your BT modem's page if Smart Setup hasn't been completed on the DroidBOX yet.
Click the Get Started button, then turn off Parental Controls. No need to login on the next page, BT has now granted the DroidBOX proper internet access.

See https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/bt-are-your-isp-add-on-problems/ for a prettier version of the above!
