i got x7 ultimate, it connected throuh ethernet. When i try to add wifi it allows me to turn on and add password to wifi but then after searching it still doesnt connect. Any suggestions?

Can you long click on the WiFi network please, so a little menu pops up. Select the Forget Network type entry, wait a moment, then try to re-connect to your network. Below where you type in the password, there should be an option you can tick to see the password entirely, instead of **** . Tick that to double check the password is being entered correctly.
Also worth rebooting your modem/router in cases like this.

I have done as you advised. From what i can see the wifi is disabled when ethernet is on. And then wifi is connected when ethernet is off. Is this normal? Do i need both?

Mine does that it's normal
