Wi-Fi not connecting automatically

I've not got one to test with, but a couple of things:
1) If you temporarily set up a hotspot on your mobile phone, can the A95X Max connect to it automatically? If it does, then we know that the modem's WiFi settings could be worth looking at
2) If you tell your device to forget the WiFi network (if click on it doesn't give a helpful command, try long-clicking instead). Once forgotten, click on the network and enter the password again. This used to help with some strange WiFi issues in the past.
