What does it mean?

Hi everyone what does it mean when you go to OTA updates and on available updates it's States... error fetching update info: error communicating with server?

Does it mean that the box is up to date or something else please help.

Yes, droidBOX will put an announcement on there site and forum or if you are registered for emails then you will get an email.
If you get the message you mentioned then it normally means your up todate.

If your box is more than a few months old and you haven't updated then you could do this to see if it helps.
Go to the two cogs and click here, now go apps and let it load. Now look for the OTA updater app and click here. Now force stop and then clear data and wait while it finishes.
Go back and try again see if this works, if you've updated in the last few weeks then you are fine. T8-S plus only...

If you have a T8-S then there's been no update for awhile so just hang on as there might be one soon...or not.

Sorry for the confusion in the last post..just seen this is a T8-S.

@onjonone Let us know the build/firmware that the OTA app stats is CURRENTLY installed on your device, we can double check if you're up to date. Also worth checking if the app has a menu button top right, if so, and you're using a network (ethernet) cable, check for an option to disable WiFi ONLY.
