Hi,

If I press power on my stock remote, the box powers down, but if I press power on my new VIP remote it reboots?

Please tell me I don't need to keep both in active use [emoji47]

same here, tried calibrating with the stock remote but no joy,

Thanks 8bit, I'd already tried to 'learn' the power button but hadn't done anything extra like the OK to commit the learn.

I'll try that later and update the thread

Worked perfect!

1. Hold 'TV' to commence learning
2. Press power on stock remote
3. Press power on VIP
4. Press 'OK' to complete learning

finally got it to work, power button now shuts down as it should
