VIP PLUS remote issue. Not turning on!

My box and remote arrived today. Unfortunately there is an issue with the VIP remote. It seems to be non responsive, no led's when charging or when attempting to go into pair mode.

Multiple chargers and cables tried.
Dongle is plugged in.
Okay and home button pressed to attempt pair mode.

Can someone please advise me how to get it to work? Thanks!

Think there must be issue with manufacturer. As ours arrived with no usb port. Contact customer service they are very good and will normally collect faulty devices and return replacement all within 5 working days

Had same issue with mine. I believe what Vectis is talking about is true. It might a manufacturer fault.

Iv just received my vip plus remote controll but it dosent turn on or off my x96 max can anyone help its driving me crazy

I "taught" my remote the on/off function from the original box remote
