Vip Controller - Media Controls help

Good Evening,

Just purchased a T8 Mini and Droidbox vip plus remote. Have to say im more than impressed with the t8 and loaded droidbox interface. One question regarding the remote though;

Is there any way of assigning buttons or using any of the buttons for pause, play, fast forward and rewind when using kodi. Seems like these buttons have been overlooked. Seems like I have to use the use the kodi onscreen software controls to pause etc but this then brings up the control overlay onscreen.

Have a vip standard remote from a previous purchase and this has the media controls but went with the plus because of the seemingly better power button support

Hi, This works on my mini i8 keyboard, don't know if it will work on your vip plus remote but on your qwerty side try.
(X=stop) (F=forward) (R=rewind) (Space bar=pause) (P=play)

There aren't as many buttons on the front to re-assign, but you could see if https://droidbox.co.uk/how-to/remapping-remote-control-buttons-in-android/ helps remap one or two of the keys @Stoz23

Hi,

Thanks guys. Am using the keyboard on the flip side. Space to play/pause and arrows to skip forwards and backwards. Just a shame that a few media controls are not on the front. This would then be the perfect controller in my opinion
