Hi Folks

I had a problem with Kodi 16.1 after the latest update to the box - it kept kicking me out after a few minutes - I solved that by using the Droidbox version of Kodi - after getting my build just right I want to back Kodi up.

I normally use USB Wizard and have never have a problem with it - now however I am getting an invalid path when trying to set the USB wizard path? I also tried a Sdcard too but get the same message?

S0 I have two questions - how can I back up Kodi now and set the USB wizard path or alternatively how can I revert my box back to the previous version.

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Many thanks in advance

That tutorial is not the best and will put you on the right track but I just want to add to it, insert your memory stick into you box when es f e is open and find its path on the left hand side 1st under home, also expand the tools menu on the left and check 'show hidden files'. Instead of cloning Kodi.org you will be cloning the dbmc folder. I prefer just to clone the addons and userdata folders from within either (then that makes your backup universal and can be used on different platforms i.e. Windows, android, LibreElec etc)

Marshmallow, for USB path:
/storage/(and then a funny code)/
(if you have one USB device, there should only be one folder there with a very weird name)

Hi
My mistake - it seems that the path is ok because I tried again with an old backup on the USB.
I can see the backup zip and restore from it - but it appears that I cannot write to the USB to do a backup?
