Updating Openelec Kodi to 16.0

I would like to update Openelec to run kodi 16.0.

Is this possible if so how?.

Hi Graham Kodi 16 is still in beta mode and until there is a stable release it will not be possible. The only way Kodi can be updated anyway in openelec is with and openelec update by Droidbox via the ota updater, there is an update pending as openelec 6.0.1 has not long since been released on Linux. Maybe when Droidbox push the update for it in the future it may well have a stable version of Kodi 16.

You can check on the openelec community site how close they are getting to a release version of Kodi 16. Until it is ready it will not be ported onto droid boxes and will need to go through further testing.
