Hi,

I haven't used my box for months.

I now can't install some apps as the process involves 'install from repo'. As I have kodi 14 it says get addons.
How to I update kodi on openlec to the latest version ?

Also is there any updates to openlec I should be installing and if so how ?

I really would appreciate some help - this has taken most of my week up and I have finally admitted defeat !

To have kodi 14. Gotham still on your box thats been a while since you updated.
Check the OTA Updater app in apps on the android home page (6 dots). If you have a T8-S it should be there...after you update leave your box for 10 to 15 mins so it can install all your apps, don't power of until it's finished.

If you go to droidboxs main site and go to blogs it will let you know if there an update. You can check yourself by going into the OTA Updater, but these type of updates are not often so don't worry if it's awhile before the next.

Enjoy

Hi,

I have successfully completed this on my box and my little girls. When I try and update my Dads I get a constant OTA error and no updates can be found. Any ideas how to rectify this?

@Kafla - You're sure your Dad's box isn't up to date already? As David mentioned, check you've plenty of storage space left on the device. If still no joy, e-mail us with the order number for your Dad's box and the exact error message.
