Finely I'm getting round to fitting my TS-8.
Yes I know it has been quite a while for one reason or another.

Anyway, Can anyone inform me (again??)
How I can connect it to my 5.1 receiver please?
Sorry if this has been mentioned b/4, I did a quick search, but couldn't see anything (unless I need Spec Savers, or searched incorrectly)

Probably need to mention..I'm an old git (that's my excuse :D)

If your receiver has HDMI I would use this into your amp. Then set your box to passthrough in Android setting and in kodi go to system, system and Audio output and change the output to 2.0 then scroll down and highlight passthough, Dolby digital and Dolby transcoding too. If your amp does DTS highlight this.
I would leave the DTS-HD because you need super fast Internet for that.
In Openelec you need to do the same, as for your amp you might need to set picture setting.

Good luck

Thank you Dave. :)
Yes it has HDMI, it also has optical.
Are you saying use Optical for sound over HDMI?
Also....stupidly I haven't got a spare Ethernet cable, so will have to go and get one tomorrow

It depends on how you want it set up, if you use HDMI to your amp it also sends the picture so less chance of any sound delay. Only thing is you aways need your amp on. Using optical to your amp and HDMI to your TV it still should get audio when the amp is off (might have to change audio in setting).
I have mine set up so the HDMI goes to my blu-ray player which has two HDMI outs one for sound and one for picture. So I can get the best picture set up and Audio direct to my amp.
Hope this helps and keep us up to date.

OK, got the Ethernet, and HDMI fitted
Turned on and tried to go through the on-line set-up, but when I try to move the curser to the desired position, it stalls and jerks (if you know what I mean).
I can't keep up with the movie instruction.:(
I'm not exactly up to speed with Android stuff, being a dinosaur.
Is there a set-up manual somewhere I can just read through?
If not, might be a good idea for dummies like me. :D

Also...As I'm gonna dump my BT package (been steadily getting dearer:mad:).
I want to get just a B/B reasonable priced deal, Obviously without TV etc.
What do you guys recommend?

Edit...Do I have to have a mega speed B/B to get HD etc?

Just to let you know...
I haven't got an Ethernet cable yet.
Didn't have the length I wanted locally, so ordered from Amazon to be with me over the w/end (hopefully)

Got the Ethernet cable and Air mouse remote.
All set up, and working a treat directly into the TV by HDMI
Will sort out the 5.1 Receiver when I've got my head around it all first.
I'm a slow learner. Ha ha:rolleyes:

Forgot to say.....
I wired the Ethernet directly into the Router (BT infinity)
And then did a speed test. Wow it showed 51mbps.
So might keep the BT ISP and just dump everything else.
The quality of the picture has surprised me :)
