T8s remote

I've just bought the new t8s and it seems on the remote controls (not keyboard) the play, rewind, fast forward buttons are not working. But stop works???
Any ideas?

On Kodi press the ok button on the remote and on the sub menu move along to the forward and rewind. On Showbox use the cursor button to move the arrow.
I've never used the original remote to type, but although the letters aren't on the remote, keep pushing each key a few times like you would on a phone and see if the there. The VIP remote is good....

The remote is crap, my play/pause button does not work (all the rest do). I use the Kodi iPhone app, it's pretty good.

As mod said press the ok button first and list pops up.
