not getting any sound on a t8s openelec picture ok but no sound

T8-S connected via an HDMI lead to your TV? Any AV amps or similar involved?
Volume level shows as maximum when you press the volume up button on your remote?
Please click the little loudspeaker icon when a video is playing,
Volume set to 0dB?
Volume amplification, have you tried turning this up?

I have checked the settings when the Openelec is open and playing a video
and opening the small sound icon
Showing volume 0.0db
vol amp 0.0 db
audio offset 0.000s
audio stream unknown stereo
stereo upmix desabled
anabled passtrough desabled
enabled subtitles anabled
subtitles offset 0.000s
the box works ok when switched on on android

Have you tried going system, then system again, and Audio output, check settings here too.
Check Number if channels is set right
Check Output configuration is set to Optimized too.
I normally have highlighted Maintain original volume on down mix too.
Also while you are here, in your bottom right check settings level is set to Expert. To change this just click on it....good luck.

Ok, can you watch something in Kodi, then press the speaker icon. Check the volume on the top and make sure it al the way to the right(0db), also you can move the sound amplification up so it increases the sound. Now go to the bottom and set as default , this will store it.
