I have a t8mini how come every time I play a 1080p movie with 5.1 my box freezes? Is there a setting I need off or on? I'm connected to my onkyo 7.1 receiver connected with ethernet..

Hi can you try this please..

Go to system in kodi and click here, then go to system again and now Audio output.
Now make sure you have it set to 2.0.
Highlight passthrough.
Highlight DD transcoding.
Highlight DD and DTS.
I would leave DTS HD As this takes to much bandwidth.
Now see if this helps you.
