T8 splus keeps crashing

Evrytime i try to use kodi my box crashes. I have done ota updates and used the fix tool. Sometimes it just gets stuck in boot mode upon restart. Its a brand new unit so what do i do now. Thanks

once you update did you open superSU and let the binary files update? this can cause problems if you did not update the files, can you try LibreElec see if you get the same problem? and is this kodi 16.1 or kodi 17 rc3.

if that dont fix it, try a full factory reset in recovery mode.

All fixed now. Ended up being an hdmi problem, which i learned recently is called the handshake. I switched to a new hdmi switch and changed resolution setting in box to 1080p and now its all good. Thanks for getting back to me. I am pretty much a noob at this.

BTW i did a full reset and started over and that stopped it from freezing in boot mode.
