T8 S Plus Reset help

Hi everyone. I have a T8 S Plus which was fine until I moved it to another room. I want to reset but have been holding the restore button for over 5 minutes when all the vids say 5-30 seconds.
My problem is that the T8 is booting into openelec and there is no option to exit to android.
Can anyone please help my extremely tired fingers and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

In OpenELEC, go to programmes and select OpenELEC configuration.

Then on the first section, scroll to the bottom and select reboot into android.

Thanks for fast reply. My T8 is booting directly into kodi. Does your answer still apply

Yes. That's how you exit openelec

There is no programme option that I can see. as I say it boots into red button build in kodi.

It's in kodi itself, the programmes Addons

Yes, until you choose to boot back into OpenELEC.
