Switch off of box

Occasionally can't seem to turn my box off,by the blue light on front of box panel,it seems to be frozen.Only option is to unplug box by the mains lead,may be not the right way to go about it,but everything ok when this is done.

Can you tell us if power button on the box clicks IN properly or it can not be turned OFF only if OS seems frozen?

Seems to have corrected itself,for now at least,in answer to your question thou,the power button on the box clicked in properly.
