As far as I know I have the latest update.OTA UPDATE SAYS 1.1.2 .Can I have spmc and kodi on my t8s at the same time?
1.1.2 Firmware does come with both Kodi 15 and DBMC (based on SPMC 15). Can you confirm these were not installed?
I have found them both in preinstall folder in es file explorer.I have installed dbmc15 and its running well and I also have kodi 14.2 installed as well.Thank you for your patience as I am not au fait with these things.
In case anyone else comes across this issue, if you carry out a factory reset, but don't wait long enough after the first boot, not all applications will have time to reinstall. You can either navigate to /system/preinstall in ES File Explorer and reinstall manually (as Green Giant did), or repeat the factory reset and this time wait a good 20 minutes after completing the setup screens shown on first boot.
