Hi can someone help with how to root the T8s I need to do this in order to use the VPNicity adding which needs the root to fully setup

It might be worth installing https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck&hl=en_GB and double checking you're not already rooted.
