Hi,
I've had my RG350 for the last week and have spent pretty much all of that trying to get PSX games to work. I'm having real difficulties. So far, I've managed to get one game running (Colin Mcrae Rally) but this is plays in a letterbox screen.
Pretty much all other games fail to load at all.
My initial issues were PSX4ALL was showing the "insert PlayStation CD-ROM" message when launching a game. I've got around this my sourcing an updated PSX4ALL.OPK file - so I can now run a game at least.

Anyone got any definitive PSX emulators that actually consistently work? and utilise the full screen??

Thanks

The PS1 emulators are not 100% compatible with all games so it may depend on what you are playing. You may be able to use the list at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rvSpWLVAjpu-ieY41yXe6u5pa6cMn-vPAWyxD989GjM/edit as a basis to see what is working, it is for a different handheld but they are based on the same emulator source.

I am not sure off hand regarding the screen size, I have not seen it myself. Try some other games and see if it is the same.

Great - thanks for the response.
I've given up with the PSX and now having all sorts of issues with pretty much every emulation I try... GameBoy works very nicely - and consistently, everything else seems to be issue after issue
Think this is for the bin...

The PSP seems to be a far more viable handheld emulation device

PS1 emulation generally works great for me. I'm using PCSX4All 2.4. Not sure what version of the firmware it's running on but the build date is May 10th 2020.

I am having trouble with one game -- Klonoa -- hanging on the "now loading" screen. My research suggests this could be solved by using and alternative bios file or updating the emulator -- but I don't know how to do either of those things.

Any clues?
